David Charles Heesaker

May 1, 1940 — October 3, 2023

David Charles Heesaker, 83, passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2023, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He was born on May 1st, 1940 to Antone and Helen Heesaker in Madison, Wisconsin. David graduated from Premontre High School.

On August 5th, 1961 he married the love of his life, Carol Thoe, and they raised their family in Green Bay. David worked for the City of Green Bay Street Department, retiring in 2000, as well as the Green Bay Packers doing security. He enjoyed coaching various sports, having coached youth football at St. Jude Catholic Church, soccer and basketball at the Salvation Army, and women's softball.

David is preceded in death by his parents. He's survived by his wife Carol; children Cathy (Tom) Martin of Duluth, MN, Martin Heesaker of Scott, and Vicki (Jason) Maes of Eaton; grandchildren Justin Doney, Ian (Leah) Skenandore, and Brady Maes; sister Laura (Eugene) Kobussen; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Avenue in Green Bay from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the 9th, with a service and memorial celebration at 6:00 p.m.

Newcomer Green Bay is assisting the family.
