David G. Schauer, 54, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 1, 2014.
He was born on March 9, 1960, in Chippewa Falls, WI, to the late Carl & Ella Schauer.
Dave served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He was a semi driver for over thirty years, and was most recently was employed by Broadway Automotive.
He married Karen Groll on January 7, 1982.
Dave is survived by his wife, "his little Poopsie" Karen; stepchildren, Trevor Wiltgen, Tanya (Craig) VandeHei and Dawn (Tim) Crane; step grandchild, Alex; siblings, Tom (Mary) Schauer, Joan (Dick) Moureau, Fran (Karen) Schauer and Acey (Mike) Lacount; in-laws, Dwight (Mary) Klein, Marlene (Art) Peglow, Jim (Polly) Groll and Lynn (Donald) Kopidlansky; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and good friends, Tina, Jack and Taylor Nagel, Patty & Larry Crowell and special K9 friends, Piper and Reagan.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until time of funeral service at 5:00pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
