David W. Altmann

David W. Altmann, 77, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on May 5, 2024.
He was born on October 7, 1946 to Charles and Eliene (Hansen) Altmann in Two Rivers, WI. David graduated from MIT in Massachusetts and worked as a Electrical Engineer. He was a member of several bands since high school and college playing his guitar for all who would listen. He was a kind soul and will be missed by all who knew him.
David is survived by his loving "spousal equivalent", Kathie Rost, four children: Brenda (Robert)Remiker, Daniel (Sidney) Altmann of Minnesota, Brian (Kelly) Altmann of Minnesota, and Greg Altmann; step-daughter, Kristen (Chris) Kratcha, 12 grandchildren: Kathryn, Sophia, Violet, Dylan, Baylee, Norah, Garrett, Eleanor, Thomas, Kaitlin, Derek, and Ryan; one brother, John Altmann; and further survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Fred Altmann.
David's wishes were to be cremated and private services will happen in the future.
