Darcy A. Guenette

April 5, 1956 — February 17, 2022

Darcy Ann Guenette, 65, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday February 17th, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born April 5th, 1956 to the late William and Irene Lenberg in Richfield MN.

After attending Escanaba High School she married her former husband Raymond Allen Guenette on April 11th, 1974. They had three daughters: Michelle Lee, Jeri Lynn, and Nicole Ray.

She worked at Woodman's in Appleton WI for 22 years as a cashier. For the last several years, she has been able to enjoy retirement.

Darcy was a true sweetheart. She always put others before herself. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, friends, and everyone in between. There is an old saying "Never trust a skinny cook" well, you could trust her.

The holidays were an enjoyable time for Darcy because she truly loved giving gifts to her loved ones, especially her grandkids, Mason & Isabelle. All the kids in the neighborhood knew where to go trick or treating because she spoiled them too.

She loved cats and couldn't resist taking in a stray or four. She spoiled her cats along with her daughters cats.

She liked watching stories of haunting and aliens, Svengoolie, and anything Sci-Fi. She enjoyed Sundays nights watching animation domination.

Darcy is survived by her three daughters: Michelle Guenette and her husband Aaron Pritzl of De Pere WI, Jeri Guenette and boyfriend Tim Beyer of Appleton WI, and Nicole Guenette of Appleton WI; grandchildren: Mason Guenette, Isabelle Pritzl; Long time boyfriend Kurt Van Bommel of Appleton WI; brothers: William Lenberg, Brad Lenberg; sisters: Debbie Thomson, Diana Engman; her former husband: Raymond Guenette, and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Along with her parents, Darcy is preceded in death by her sister Dawn Begovac.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay) on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 from 4 to 6 PM. A memorial service and sharing of memories will follow at 6 PM.
