Daniel Lee Kuehn Jr., age 56, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 6, 2023, with his loving family at his side. He was born November 30, 1966 in Green Bay, son of Daniel L. and Arlene (Krerowicz) Kuehn Sr.
Dan was a graduate of Denmark High School, Class of 1985. He was a talented and awarded athlete in high school, participating in several sports including football and basketball. His senior year, the Denmark basketball team brought home the gold ball for winning the State Championship. He continued his education at Gogebic Community College in Michigan, where he earned an Associate's Degree.
Dan married Debra Miller in 2000 and the couple was blessed with a son, Hunter. He later married Dawn Hultman in November of 2015. Dan held various jobs throughout his career, retiring from Belgioioso Cheese in 2013 when his health no longer allowed him to work.
Dan Jr. was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish-catch and release only! He was also a great Yahtzee player and liked to play pool. Dan had a soft spot in his heart for animals and quite often brought home strays as family pets.
Daniel Jr. is survived by his wife, Dawn; his son, Hunter Kuehn; his parents, Dan and Arlene Kuehn Sr. and 2 sisters, Brenda (friend, Bob) Gossen and Tina (Tim) Watzka. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, in-laws and friends.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Victoria Jean and Renee Lynn Kuehn.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 2 to 4 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4 PM.
