Daniel J. "Dizzy" Derozier, 70, of Green Bay, passed away on March 7, 2024 surrounded by his daughters.
He was born on November 17, 1953 to Gerald and Joan (Shampo) Derozier in Green Bay, WI. He graduated Green Bay West High School in 1973 and spent his working career as an industrial engraver.
He was known for his great sense of humor and outgoing personality. He could socialize with anyone and always had a story to tell. Those who knew him would say he truly honored the never ending midwestern goodbye.
One of his favorite hobbies was tinkering around with cars and his beloved Harley-Davidson in the garage. He found great pleasure in customizing and taking them for joyrides. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, bringing his daughters up North for weekend getaways and spending time with friends and pets.
Daniel is survived by his loving daughters: Melissa (Kevin) Buckmaster, Jennifer (Ricardo) Linares and Sarah Derozier; seven grandchildren: Emily, Abigail and Nolan Buckmaster and Devon, Miranda, Ethan and Noah Linares; brother, Greg (Arlene) Derozier; sisters: Carol (Fred) Austin, Bonnie LeMere, Darleen Welborn, Kathi (James) Roberts; and step-son; Joshuah Armentrout.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah, who recently passed on February 27; his parents; and two brothers: Dale Derozier and Dick Derozier.
The family would like to thank the emergency room staff at St. Vincent Hospital for all the compassion and care they provided for Daniel and his family. They also would like to express gratitude to Packer Stadium Lounge for the years of good times and socialization. They always had a seat available and a bottle of Yukon ready for him.
