Dallas W. Martin

Dallas "Bill" Martin, 77, of Coleman, passed away on September 22, 2023 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Oconto Falls. He was born on September 11, 1946 to Dallas and Gertrude (Batten) Martin in Marinette, WI. On April 27, 1968, he married Anne Aubry at St. Mary's Parish in Crivitz. Anne and Dallas lived in Milwaukee while he worked for a construction company. Later, they moved back and farmed in the Lena area. Dallas enjoyed working at the Marinette County Fair with the horse and tractor pulls, as he was an avid horse puller. He was very supportive of the Coleman Cougars for wrestling and all sporting events. He was a member of Safe Haven Community Church.

Dallas is survived by his sister, Sarah J. (Norman) Baldwin, three brothers-in-law, Mack Baldwin, Jerry Hart, and Arnold (Harriet) Aubry, sister-in-law, Monica (Mark) Nelezen, and close friends: Pastor Mark (Melody) Kostreva and Cody Race and his son, Kenny. Dallas is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, James Lee Martin, sisters: Dallene Hart and Marilyn E. Baldwin, and one brother, Douglas V. Martin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm at Safe Haven Church, 5238 Parkway Road, Pound, WI with a funeral service at 5:00 pm with Pastor Mark Kostreva officiating.
