Dale E. Massart, age 68, of Luxemburg, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, February 5, 2022, as a result of an accidental fall on January 13, surrounded by his loving family. He was born at home July 13, 1953 in Red River, WI, son of the late Richard Massart Sr. and Ellen (Cravillion) Boulanger and was a graduate of Luxemburg-Casco High School, Class of 1971.
Dale was a skilled carpenter and owned his own floor covering business for many years. He was also passionate about raising and selling his beef cattle and took pride in providing meat for his family and friends. Dale married Teresa Kohlbeck, September 2, 1977 and shared 44 years of marriage with the love of his life, raising their 4 children together.
Dale was a true family man and his family was his greatest joy. He was always working on and tinkering with something in his workshop. His skills allowed him to help so many people with projects and repairs. His hard working nature was an inspiration to his family who remembers his advice that hard work will make your dreams come true. Dale also had a true love of the land and working his land. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed the peace and camaraderie of deer hunting. Dale loved Wisconsin sports and enjoyed getting together for cook outs while cheering for the Badgers, Packers and Brewers.
Dale is survived by his wife, Teresa; 4 children: Shawn (Jessica) Massart, Josh (Mary) Kohlbeck, Kimberly (Travis) Bergene and Mollie (Chris) Massart; 10 grandchildren: Jordan, Cassidy, Topanga, Tristan, Jakob, Cade, Josie, Brayden, Brooklyn and Ellanore; 2 great-grandchildren, Hazel and Bentley and a sister-in-law, Nancy Massart.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Massart Jr.
