Dale S. De Laruelle, age 52, passed away at home on Thursday, June 25, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
Dale was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI on July 30, 1962, a son of Roger G. De Laruelle and the late Diane G. (Roberts) Prahl. Dale graduated from West De Pere High School and then entered the US Navy in 1979. He proudly served his country retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in 1999. Dale was married to Nancy (Vandenhouten) June 27, 1987 while stationed in Norwich, CT.
As a result of Dale's training in the military he had an interest in computers and electronics. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and spending time with family and friends at the cottage on Kelly Lake.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, of 28 years, his father Roger G. (Margaret Miller) De Laruelle of Green Bay, his children Jason (Christa) Robshaw of Erie, IL, Crystal De Laruelle of Ogema, WI, Brittany De Laruelle of Pulaski, WI and Chelsea De Laruelle of Fairview Heights, IL. Dale is further survived by his grandchildren Taylor, Drew and Addison, his brothers: Roger G. (Peggy), Bruce, Tad (Marge) and Gregory (Danny) De Laruelle; his sisters: Robin Tremble and Ashley Miller; as well as his father-in-law Emery Vandenhouten, and his brothers and sisters-in-law: Patricia (Steven) Jonet, Jenny (Rick) Ullman, Mark (Jane) Vandenhouten and Amy (Todd) Fischer, other relatives and friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his mother, his mother-in-law Janice Vandenhouten as well as a brother-in-law James Vandenhouten.
Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM. Visitation continues on Monday, June 29, 2015 at BEAUTIFUL SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH (2160 Packerland Drive, Green Bay, WI) from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM with full military honors to follow. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
