Dale Corbeille, age 87, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 15, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 22, 1931 in Green Bay, WI, son of the late William and Olive (Gullickson) Corbeille and attended Green Bay East High School.
Dale worked as a truck driver for his family business, Corbeille Ice, Coal & Fuel, from the age of 15 until the family sold the business to Halron Oil in 1971. He married Adeline Zimmerman in 1955 and they shared 63 loving years of marriage and were blessed with 5 children.
Every day you could find Dale sitting on his porch, chatting with his dear friend, Ellen. Dale was a hard worker and great provider. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dale is survived by his wife, Adeline; his children: Christine (Donne) Menne and Craig, Curtis, Brian and Cindy Corbeille; 6 grandchildren: Carrie Lynn (Mike), Nicole (Jerald), Kyle, Stacy (Jeremy), DJ (Candice) and Austin; 5 great-grandchildren: Logan, Lyndsey, Nevaeh, Savannah and Cheyenne; siblings, Roger (Donna) Corbeille and Sandra (Carl) Krafft; sisters and brothers-in-law: Robert Dahlke, Mary Ellen (Porky) Allen, Birdie (Ralph) Hoerchler, Chuck (Mary) Dahlke and Mike (Beanie) Dahlke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by brother, Donald Corbeille; father and mother-in-law, Orrin and Agnes Dahlke and sister-in-law, Marilyn Dahlke.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 4 to 6 PM. A funeral service will follow at 6 PM.
Dale's family would like to extend a special thank you to Stephanie, Cindy and all of the many other caretakers at Odd Fellow Home and Aurora At-Home Hospice for their compassion, friendship and support. His life became so enriched as part of the community at the home. He loved playing Bingo, cards, crafting and being the social butterfly and candy man.
