Cyrilla Kaiser

March 26, 1917 — January 14, 2015

She was born on March 26, 1917, to Henry and Marie (Kuechenberg) Stephani in Stacyville, IA. She came to Edgar, WI, via Minnesota in 1919.

Given the name "Cyrilla" which means "Gracious Lady", those who knew her through the years would agree.

Her Catholic Faith and Music were a high priority – from grade school with daily mass, singing in the choir. The old Gregorian Chant –Latin Mass. A highlight for her was the privilege to have attended two concerts given by the Von Trapp Family singers and to visit with them. She said their music was like a slice of heaven.

Cyrilla was an accomplished seamstress , in past years had a large garden which helped her to fill her life with her love of cooking, canning, and baking and she loved refinishing woodwork and furniture.

She was an avid reader of Faith, Medical, Architectural and Books on the Cultures of the world.

She had cared of her Mother-in-Law, Pauline Kaiser, for 5 years prior to coming to Green Bay where she continued her in-home heath care from which she retired.

Cyrilla was a member of the Cathedral choir and attended daily mass at St. Willebrord's.

She kept a diary from age 13 every day through her death.

Cyrilla is survived by 6 children; Brendan (Kathy) Kaiser, Janesville, Ron (Marian) Kaiser, Milton, Mary Jane (Alfred) Volm, Green Bay, Thomas (Mary Jo) Kaiser, Milton, Carmel Muelhausen, Chicago, IL, John (Joyce) Kaiser, Edgar; 21 Grandchildren; 25 Great-Grandchildren; and 10 Great-Great Grand-children and many nieces and nephews.
