Corrine Mae (Corky) McWey, Green Bay, WI died peacefully at home and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She was born on the shores of Green Bay on February 11, 1930, in Green Bay, to the late Kermit and Flora (Virlee) Herlache.
Corky married the love of her life, William F. McWey on June 5, 1948. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and woman of impeccable character. Her selfless dedication to her husband, children and grandchildren leave a lasting legacy.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, survived by her 4 children: Dr. Patrick (Beth) McWey, Mary McWey, Jeff (Lauren) McWey and John (Jean) McWey; 8 grandchildren: Jason Schaut, Colin (Katie) McWey, Kevin (Margaret) McWey, Ross (Grace) McWey, Max (Elizabeth) McWey, Adam, Lese and Breanna McWey; granddaughter-in-law, Jessica Schaut, 16 great-grandchildren: Julia, Lucy, Valerie, Evelyn, Cecilia, Agnes, Frances, Patrick, Alfred, Hazel, Finley, Olivia, Ryan, Nick, William and Charles; sister, Deborah Jensen and her children, Brandon (Christine) Jensen and Alicia (Brennan) Townsend. She was preceded in death by her husband, William and grandson, Matthew Schaut.
