Connie T. Nicholson, Green Bay, peacefully passed away on July 1, 2022.
Connie was born in Syracuse, New York on July 28, 1929 to the late John and Anna Dillon. She was raised in New York along with her eight brothers and sisters. Connie graduated from Solvay High School in Syracuse and attended Syracuse University. She then moved with her family to Southern California.
She was a beautiful young woman who modeled and competed in pageants. She was employed by Aerojet Engineering in Azusa, California where she met her husband, Ned Nicholson. They were married on January 24, 1953 in Sierra Madre, California. She and Ned moved to Green Bay in 1957 where Ned continued Nicholson Builders Hardware.
She was also an avid gardener who took pride in her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens each year. She spoiled her family with her home cooking and canning. She made everything beautiful. She was a proud, devout Irish Catholic who tried her best to instill Faith in her family.
Connie cherished her husband, children and grandchildren and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Ned and seven of her siblings. She is survived by Clair (Tom Eastwood), Dan (fiancé Lynn Nier), Andy (Eileen) and four grandchildren (Ned, Danny (Michelle), Bridget and Maggie Nicholson). Further surviving Connie are her brother, Mike (June), nieces, and nephews.
Gathering time with family and friends will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 710 N.
