Cleora Gillis

Cleora F. Gillis, age 87 of Ashwaubenon, died Friday, January 23, 2015. She was born on March 15, 1927in Green Bay to the late Alex and Gertrude (Bumgard) Langley.

On June 22, 1947, Cleora married Russell H. Gillis at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. Russell preceded her in death in May 2010.
Cleora enjoyed bingo, card games and cribbage. She also crocheted afghans for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter and five sons. Dolli (Dave) Strauss, Bruce (Carol) Gillis, Pau Gillis, Ron(Sue) Gillis, Matt Gillis, and Jerry (Torri) Gillis. 10 Grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 10 step great-grandchildren.
Cleora was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends may call from 9:30am until 11:00am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Parish 2270 S. Oneida St., Green Bay. Interment to follow at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
