Cindy (Lange) Linzmeier, 51, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by her loving family on October 31, 2021.
Cindy was born April 4, 1970, in Green Bay, WI, to Shirley (Fuller) Arnold and the late Lloyd Lange. She graduated from Green Bay East High School. Later in life, Cindy attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College earning a degree in Health Care Business Management. She then attended Northcentral Technical College and received an Associate's Degree in Human Services with a certificate in Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse. Cindy went on to pursue a Bachelor of Social Work from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Cindy was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working in many fields throughout her lifetime. During her time at UWGB, she developed an interest in assisting the local homeless population. She completed many projects and fundraisers to benefit the homeless which lead her to her most recent employment as an Intake Specialist for St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter. She put her entire heart into this position and was well liked by all of her coworkers and the community she served.
Cindy will be remembered for her gentle soul and caring heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family which included movie nights, playing board games and cards, and simply talking the day away. She had a knack for connecting to anyone she met. Cindy also had a love for animals. She liked watching and training her three pet parakeets and spending time with her grand-dog. Despite living in Green Bay her entire life, she was a diehard Detroit Lions fan. She often teased family and friends for their allegiance to other NFC North teams.
She is survived by her mother Shirley (Fuller) Arnold and step-father David Arnold; her children and their spouses, Travis (April) Lange, Brandie (Albert) Kertho, and Gisselle (special friend Kayvion Thompson) Lange-Rodriguez; grandchildren, Madalyn, Evelyn, Landon, Railyn, Irelyn, Hadley, Grayson, Eiley, Ava, Lillian, and Jeremiah; siblings, Penny (Lange) Raleigh, Jeff (Mari) Lange, Joy (Mark) Micolichek, and Holly Lange. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father Lloyd Lange and brother Timothy Lange.
The family would like to express a special heartfelt thank you to the medical staff at Aurora Baycare Medical Center who cared for Cindy during these difficult times, especially Jenny and Jesse who comforted her as she gained her angel wings.
There will be a public visitation on Saturday, November 6, at Newcomer Funeral Home from 2-4pm immediately followed by a short service at 4pm.
