Christine Nicole Petrie

Christine Nicole Petrie "Nicki" 32, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away March 24, 2022.

Christine was born in Denver, Colorado on January 27, 1990 to James Andrew Petrie V and Wendy Lynn (Zich) Petrie.

Christine moved with her mom to Green Bay, WI when she was a young child. Christine graduated from Syble Hopp School, and in the summer she attended Ashwaubenon Special Children's Program. She was currently attending the CP Center where she enjoyed her swimming and "snoozelin" classes with all of her friends. She loved her cartoons, especially the movie Frozen. Often her little nephew Kellen would hang out with her watching their favorite movies and she ALWAYS enjoyed a visit from her big brother, Jim. She also loved playing with her beads, toys and her twinkle lights.

Christine was loved and cherished by all who knew her and so many people made an impact on her life. She touched many hearts, and her smile would light up a room. She loved Packer games and especially the parking of cars at the house on those big game days! Family gatherings were one of the things that made her happy and she was always up for a party or get together.

Christine is survived by her mother Wendy and her step-father Keith Hornbeck, grandmother Janet Zich, brother James Petrie, nephew Kellen Petrie, aunt Karen Olsen, aunt Tammy (Gene) Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Orville Zich and her aunt Cheri Jo Zich.

Christine's family would like to extend their gratitude to the Ashwaubenon police and EMS for their quick response and compassionate care. A special thank you to the staff at the CP Center and Lamers bussing. Another big thank you to Patty and Nicki J for their kind care giving. A special thanks to Dr. James Gast from Bellin Health for the many years of exceptional care.

We will always hold our special angel in our hearts.
