Cheryl L. Ault

March 17, 1946 — December 1, 2015

Cheryl L. Ault, age 69, left us unexpectedly on December 1, 2015. She was born on March 17, 1946, the daughter of Edwin and Hazel (Smith) Hill. Cheryl graduated from Bay Port High School and recently attended her 50th Class Reunion. Cheryl worked many years for Oneida Nation before retiring, with her last position in Elderly Services.

Cheryl married Clifford Ault, Jr., at St. John's Catholic Church and they had four children, Connie, C.J., Bill, and Sheri. (C.J. preceded her in death.) They're family grew to include six grandchildren and many more including extended blended family members.

Cheryl is survived by her children: Connie (Mike) Herlache; Bill Ault (Lisa); and Sheri Ault. Survived by grandchildren: Nicholas Vollmer; Justin and Heaven Ault; Devin Ault; and Tiana and Cyle Patterson.

She also leaves her siblings: Sisters: Bonnie Hill, Jackie Hill, and Julie Ann Cornelius. Brothers: Ron Hill and Julius Sommers, Jr. Sisters-in-Law: Pat and Bill LaPointe, Mary and Gary Zeitler; Liz and Butch Beyers, Kate and Jeff Brewer; Marge and Dan Hager; Sue and Tom Krueger; and Holly Ault, Brothers-in-Law: Wes and Char Ault; Mike and Cathy Ault; Marc Ault and many nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Clifford John (C.J.) Ault III, sister Diane Hill, sister-and-brother-in-law Jean and Gerald Hansen, nephews Todd Noe and Danny John, father-in-law Clifford John Ault, Sr., and mother in-law Elizabeth Ault.

Cheryl was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a social person beginning with birth, as her birthday fell on St. Patricks day! She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Some activities she enjoyed, her bus trips, and in her earlier years, family camping trips, bowling, watching grandchildren's sporting events, and watching the Green Bay Packers. This is why we chose to "celebrate her life" with Packer themed attire. If you choose, we encourage you to wear your Packer gear, though whatever you decide to wear is acceptable. Cheryl will be glad you made it to support her family and share fond memories!

Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 9 AM to 12:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM. Entombment will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
