Charles "Chuck" Peters, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 29, 2014.
Chuck was born in Green Bay, WI on October 18, 1945, a son of the late Hilda and Richard Peters. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Green Bay East High School.
Chuck was a proud Naval Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He returned to Green Bay and had five children. He was later married to Karen Lau. Chuck was employed by Alwin Manufacturing for 15 years and also for Dedicated Services for 8 years. Prior to suffering from a stroke in 2004, Chuck enjoyed going to the Hodag every year and going to Lenny's Tap.
Chuck is survived by Karen, his loving wife of over 32 years. He also leaves his children: David Peters, Robert (Jana) Peters, Jason (Jean) Peters, Rhea (Jeremy) Sneddon, Richard (Tracy) Peters; his step-children Bill (Laurie) Guth, Debbie (Jeff) Gorham and Katherine O'Shaughnessy. Chuck is further survived many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers Russ (Stella) and Milt Peters and two sisters Dottie (Tom) White and Jan (Mark) Beyers and his sister-in-law Barb Peters. Chuck is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Richard and Allen Peters, his sister Kathy (Joe) Laes and his step-daughter Cheryl DeGroot.
Friends and relatives may call on the family at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 4 to 6:45 PM. A funeral service with full military honors will be held at 7 PM.
