Charles D. "Chuck" Drumm of Cato, WI, passed away on June 16, 2018. Charles was born November 25, 1933, the only child of the late Charles J. and Emma (Cervenka) Drumm. Charles grew up in Manitowoc, WI, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. Charles served in the Army from 1952 to 1954, stationed in Fort Monmouth, MO and Dugway Proving Ground, UT.
Charles was a musician and had his own band, "The Chuck Drumm Orchestra." He learned to play the accordion as a child and continued his love of music throughout his life. He played many weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations throughout Northeast WI. He married Norma J. Hanson, July 9, 1955. They would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year.
Charles is survived by his wife, Norma; his children: Susan (Steven) Schambureck, Thomas (Connie) Drumm and Laurine (Paul) Mueller; 8 grandchildren: Jeremiah Brull, Krysta (Zack) Budysz, Jordan (TaylerAnn) Brull and Andrew (Kelsey Gaedtke) Schambureck, Harley Puls, Tamara (Jake) Gardner, Joshua (Kati) and Melissa Mueller; 3 great-grandchildren (and one on the way): Madison Budysz, Bella Schambureck and Tatum Puls. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Grace (the late Robert) Reichert, Glen (Joan) Hanson, Lester (Lorna) Hanson and Sandra (John) Frost.
He was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Taylor Budysz, May 20, 2017. He was also preceded in death by sister-in-law, Joyce Hanson and brother-in-law, Roy Hanson.
Those that he leaves behind and loved him may remember him in their hearts in their own way. The family is grateful for condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
