Charles R. Dams, age 66, passed away on September 15, 2021 at Door County Medical Center - SNF, with his beloved wife by his side. He was born on July 26, 1955 in Iron River, Michigan the son of the late Donald and Joan (Johnson) Dams. Charlie was united in marriage in 1990 to Judy Goudreau at Seul Choix Lighthouse in Gulliver, Michigan. Charlie worked several jobs throughout his life, he was a hard worker and a very gentle man. He enjoyed woodworking projects, including making lighthouses and other things, camping and fishing in Crivitz, and traveling with Judy; one of their last trips was to Branson, MO. Charlie was always willing to help anyone out anyway he could.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Judy of 31 years, his beloved canine, Lacy; one step-daughter, Dawn Jacobe, 5 step-grandchildren: Amber (Dan) Fish, Preslie, Drew, Matthew, and Jadyn; step-great-grandchildren: Landon, Izzy, Xander, and Tara; one sister, Donna (Bill) Lusardi, nephew, Kyle Lusardi, niece, Lisa (Zach) Dutter and their son, Landon. Further survived by two brothers-in-law: William (Tina) Goudreau and Pete Goudreau and many dear friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, step-son, George Kenneth Stoneburner, step-daughter, Tara Bielke, and step-granddaughter, Paige Marie Franklin.

Friends and family may visit at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan St, Sturgeon Bay; on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 am. To Leave an online condolence please visit www.NewcomerGreenBay.com
