Chad R. De Vore, age 40, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his home. He was born October 8, 1978 in Wausau, son of John R. De Vore and Karen Hamsing.
Chad attended Merrill High School. He held several jobs, but especially enjoyed being a forklift operator and computer technician with various companies.
Chad enjoyed boxing in his youth and shared his passion for the sport by coaching. Chad was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He is remembered for his sense of humor and his kind heart. Chad had a great smile and loved to make people laugh. His most important role was being a proud father and uncle "papa."
Chad is greatly loved and dearly missed by his son, Kaeden R. De Vore; his parents, John De Vore and Karen Hamsing; siblings: Johnny Garihee, Tanya Muschinske and Tabitha McNeil. He is further survived by 4 nephews: Liam and Elias Muschinske, Nicholas Garihee and Stephen Saivong; 4 nieces: Lyric Muschinske, Adriana Garcia, Ashley Kubisiak and Emelyn Kust; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and a cousin, Corey Knoblock.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 1 to 3 PM. A celebration of his life and sharing of memories will follow at 3 PM. The family would be honored if you would share a memory or story about Chad at this time.
