Cathie Mercier

Catherine (Cathie) Mary Mercier, age 62, of Green Bay, passed away at her home on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born December 3, 1960, in Green Bay, daughter of the late Ralph Mercier and Hope (Eckstein) Mercier. Cathie received an Associate Degree in Accounting from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College after attending Green Bay East High School.
Cathie is also known as "Momma" to many of her customers at Kimmer's Bar and Grill. She loved working there and considered it her second family.
Cathie is a Christ-follower and attended the Visible Church in Howard, Wis. She enjoyed time with her family, making puzzles and playing cards.
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole(Jason) Kelsey, son, Shawn Shields, daughter, Nicole (Bob)Kucharski, grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Trever, Bradyn, Kimberly, Paige, siblings, Tom (Michelle) Mercier, Terri (Daniel) Mercier, Susan Mercier, Diane (Ron) Gouin, life long friend, Papa. She was preceded in death by her mother Hope (Eckstein) Mercier, father Ralph Mercier, brother Daniel Mercier, and Smitty.
Friends and family may visit at Newcomer Cremations ,Funerals, and REceptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with a memorial service at 6:00 pm and Pastor Ben Lamb officiating.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Promedica Hospice, especially to Cindy and Ashley, for all their care, comfort and support that was given to Cathie.
