Carrie (Vanden Heuvel) Moreau, 58, of New Franken, beloved wife of Mark Moreau, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 29, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Carrie was born on April 20, 1963 in Green Bay, daughter of Dale Vanden Heuvel and the late Nancy (Selissen) Vanden Plas. She was a graduate of the class of 1981 from Preble High School. She was employed by the Green Bay School District in the Food Service Department and also owned and operated the New Franken Stein from 2004 until 2011. Carrie enjoyed cooking and gardening in her spare time. She loved her two dogs, Lucy and Sissy. On June 5, 2020 she married the love of her life, Mark Moreau. Carrie's greatest legacy is how much she loved her family especially her children and grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Mark, and her children: Cayla Slattebo and Casey Wieber, and step-children: Jennifer (Justin) Krogman and Tony (Candice) Moreau. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren: Cash Hartwell and Chloe Schultz, and step-grandchildren: Layla and Penny Moreau, and Riley and Teagan Krogman. Carrie leaves her father, Dale (Leslie) Vanden Heuvel, along with her siblings, Cory Daul, Carla Vanden Heuvel, Angel Voss, Tony Vanden Heuvel, and Craig Vanden Heuvel, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4th, from 4 PM - 7 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue Green Bay. A service celebrating Carrie's life will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home.
