Caroline Louise Sagan Mazur Goudreau, formerly of Goodman, went to Heaven on Angel's wings, May 10, 2021.
Caroline was the 5th child born to Anna & Frank Sagan on October 26, 1931. She married Stanley Mazur in January 1951, and resided in Goodman, WI where they raised 3 daughters.
Caroline worked many jobs throughout her lifetime, besides raising her 3 girls, she did cleaning in and around the Goodman area. She worked 10 years at the Red Owl Store. In 1974 she started at Goodman Forest Industries until her retirement.
In 1987 Caroline married David Goudreau and continued to live in Goodman until his death.
Caroline moved to Green Bay to live with her daughter, Beverly whom she resided with for 8 ½ years before moving into Age Well Assisted Living.
While in Green Bay, Caroline spent many of her days at the Curative Connection in Crossroads. They became her second family. She treasured all those who worked there and had a bond with the curative that only a pandemic could break.
Before dementia, Caroline was a Jack of All Trades. She sewed most of her daughters' clothes when they were little. She loved to garden and canned all that she grew. During any berry season, Caroline was in the patch. She was a top notch baker. She enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Arizona with David. She loved Arizona so much that David built her a porch that got nicknamed "Arizona" and she loved sitting out on that porch with crochet hook in hand and cranked out numerous afghans and at times switching out the crochet hook for knitting needles to make hats. She always kept busy and didn't like idle hands.
Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, and all of her siblings- Frank, Sophie, Mary, and Anna, her two loving husbands Stanley & David.
She leaves behind three daughters: Clara Lane (Sarasota, FL), Mary (Gregg) Wulf of Goodman, Beverly Mazur of Green Bay, two grandsons, Jeremiah (Andrea) of West Bend and Jesse (Sherry) of West Bend, five great-grandsons Nolan, Sully, Lukah, and twins Kyron and Hudson, with whom she shared a birth date with.
We would like to express our gratitude to those who have worked at the Curative, past and present. Mom thought of you as family. Special shout-outs to Diane, Barb, Kim, Taylor, and Holly. You always will hold a special place in our hearts. We would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Age Well. Mom called it home and always said "they feed us good food." Thank you all for going that extra mile, we know how difficult it was to step in to being her family during the COVID crisis of 2020, when we ourselves couldn't be there.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 16th from 1 PM - 3 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A funeral service will follow at 3 PM in the funeral home.
Mom, you taught us so much. You'll be missed very much! You'll live in our hearts forever!
