Carole J. Larmay, age 81, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 11, 1941 in Spruce, WI, daughter of the late Leo and Beatrice (Davis) Kadlec and was a graduate of Laona High School.
Carole married Ronald Larmay, March 31, 1961 in Green Bay and they shared 60 blessed years of marriage. She was a talented baker and was employed by Copp's in their bakery department. She was a faithful member of St. Jude's Parish where she was active with the St. Jude's Womens' Club and Spirit Singers.
Carole was an avid gardener and a talented cook. Her home was always a welcome place for family and friends alike. She was always preparing food and treats in abundance. Her greatest joy was being around children, especially her beloved grandchildren and their friends.
Carole is survived by her husband, Ron; her daughter, Michelle (Steve) Matuszweski; 2 grandchildren, Macayla and Bret Palubicki; her sister, Donna (the late, J.R.) Buth and a brother, John (Jan) Kadlec. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers: Harvey, Anthony "Ike" and Rex Kadlec.
Visitation will be held at St. Jude Parish (1420 Division St., Green Bay, WI), Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 9 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. Tony De Los Santos, celebrant. Carole will be laid to rest in Kadlec Cemetery, Town of Spruce.
