Carol M. Plog

Carol Mae Plog (Ryczkowski), 81, went home to the Lord on May 5, 2017. She was born in Pulaski, WI on Dec 18, 1935, the daughter of Stanley and Tillie Ryczkowski. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1953 and then from Misericordia Nursing School in Milwaukee. Carol was married to Paul Plog on Sept 13, 1958.

She worked as a Registered Nurse in Green Bay at St Mary's, St Vincent's, and retired from Bellin Hospital in 1990. She was always "on call" from friends and relatives for medical advice. Most of all, she will be remembered for the love she had
for her family.

Carol is preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Henry (Rose) Ryczkowski, Julius (Betty) Ryczkowski, Jim (Rose) Ryczkowski and Norbert Ryczkowski; and three grandchildren: Edward Karl, Elizabeth Carol, and Paul Michael.

Carol is survived by her husband, Paul; and her three children: Karl (Gloria) Plog, Ruth Hogan, Sarah (Greg) Sherwin and four grandchildren: Abbey (Billy) Hilliard , Michael Hogan, Chris Plog and Taylor Plog. She is also survived by one sister, Evelyn Brodie, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist, 413 St. John Street, Green Bay. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 AM with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, Fr. Paul Demuth, and Fr. Joseph Dorner officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the National Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff and residents at Angels on Arcadian and Asera Care.
