Carol R. (Dufek) Noack, age 78, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Unity Hospice after a 5 year battle with melanoma cancer. She was born April 24, 1938 in Sturgeon Bay, daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Wardeck) Dufek and graduated from St. Joseph's Academy.
Carol married John Noack, February 15, 1958 and together they shared 58 loving years of marriage and raised 4 wonderful children, before he passed away February 13, 2016.
Carol was first and foremost a mom and caregiver. Later in her life she worked as a hostess at Green Bay Eye Clinic.
Carol's favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. They enjoyed going to visit and spend time with her right up until her passing. Carol always had a pot of coffee on and muffins for whoever stopped and looked forward to chatting away with her lifelong friends. She also had a green thumb and loved working in her garden, especially tending to her beautiful roses.
Carol is survived by and will be deeply missed by her 4 children: Mary Kay Noack, Mark (Jodi) Noack, Chris (Julie) Noack and Jim Noack; 5 grandchildren: Ashley, Austin, Brittnee, Ben and Kaiser Noack; brothers, Tony (Linda) Dufek and Pat (Sharon) Dufek; sisters-in-law, Norma (George) Wrobel and Gerry (Bob) Johnson; brother-in-law, Paul (Penny) Noack and nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law, Patricia (Wayne) Pansier and Mary Jo (Al) Withbroe; brothers-in-law, Bill Noack and Don (Mary Lou) Noack; mother and father-in-law, Norman and Mary Ann (Engels) Noack and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 1 to 3:45 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST PARISH (413 St. John St., Green Bay) at 4 PM with Fr. Joseph Dorner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to St. John the Evangelist Parish or the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Denmark, WI in Carol's name are appreciated.
