Carol D. Miller, 80, Green Bay, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was born May 17, 1932 in Green Bay, to the late Morris and Esther (Berntson) Erickson. In 1954 Carol married Robert John Miller. Carol was a life time member of Bridge Point First Baptist Church.
Carol worked as a waitress and bartender at the Elks Club for over ten years and also at St. Mary's Hospital as a certified nurse's aide for over 30 years. She loved to travel and see new places and loved being "Up North" in the U.P. at the "Hide Away Haven", fishing, making quilts, Afghans, doing different crafts, and she made each child, grandchild, and great-grandchild their own Christmas stocking. She worked on the family history search and went back into the 1600's, put a book together with the information and made sure family and extended family received a copy. Carol also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, spending time with her family and friends, and going to Daniel O'Donnell concerts. She was always there with a smile on her face if help was needed. She lived life to the fullest.
Survivors include her loving husband Bob; 4 children: Debra Lee Wilson (partner, Kevin), Patti Jean (Peter) Seidel, Michael Robert Miller, and Diane Marie Williams (partner, Dan Ambrosius); 7 grandchildren: Jennifer (Greg) Bosetski, Kristal (Jason) Perry, Jaimie (Tim) Green, Jennifer Seidel, Christine Miller, Joseph (friend, Michelle) Williams, and Dawn (Chris) Rentmeester; and 9 great-grandchildren: Paige and Braylin Bosetski, Samantha Wilson, Nolan Perry, Caitlyn and Nora Rentmeester, Joel Williams, and Eli and Elayna Green. She is further survived by 3 brother-in-laws, John (Claire), Jerry (Carol), and Jim (Pat) Miller; and many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Ann; son, Frederick Allen; son-in-law, James Wilson; grandson, Charles Raymond Gould; mother-in-law, Mable Miller; father-in-law, Ed Miller; and brother-in-law, Dick Miller.
