Carol A. Winchester, age 67, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 3, 1948 in Green Bay, daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann (Schmeider) Scharenbroch.
Carol started working at the age of 6 at her mom and dad's auto shop, Joe's Auto. She was employed as an auto parts specialist with Arrow Auto, where she retired after 60 years of service. She married Charles "Charlie" Winchester, April 29, 1979 in Green Bay and together they shared 37 years of marriage.
Carol was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed collecting her pigs. She was a loving wife, mom and grandma and she will be dearly missed by her loved ones and friends.
Carol is survived by her husband, Charles; 3 children: Allen Goetz, Steven (Michelle) Goetz and Ann (Christopher) Bukouricz; grandchildren: Cody and Leah and Joshua and Justin; mother, Mary Ann Scharenbroch; 7 siblings and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 1 to 2:45 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3 PM.
Carol's family would like to thank the staffs at Woodside Senior Community as well as Aurora BayCare for their loving care.
