Carol A. Kurtz

Carol A. Kurtz, 68, Amberg, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away with her family by her side, Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was born April 4, 1944, to the late Ervin and Eleanor (Wilde) Haag. On July 13, 1963, she married the love of her life Richard Kurtz. Carol worked at Poly Fab Corp for many years and also for a cleaning service before retiring. She enjoyed going to the cabin, bird watching, but most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Richard Kurtz; 2 daughters, Pamela (Bill) Langley and Patricia Kurtz; 2 sons, John (Kat) and Thomas (Stacy) Kurtz; 5 grandchildren, Justin, Julia, and Austin Kurtz, Jessica Krause, and Joseph Block; 2 sisters, Karen (Roland) Schmidt and Jane Norton; 2 brothers, Dennis (Vickie) Haag and Richard Haag; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Donna Edwards; nephew, Raine Edwards; and brother-in-law, Gene Norton.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from Noon until 4:00pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday at 4:00pm with Pastor Michael Baucom of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Carol's name.
