Carl J. Malcore, age 85, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022. Born October 6, 1936 in Lincoln, WI, son of the late Alvin and Edna (DeBaker) Malcore.
Carl married Delores "Dee" (Cleereman) Marcey, October 6, 1959 and she preceded him in death, July 26, 2000, after more than 40 years of marriage. Carl owned Malcore Painting and was a professional painter for commercial and residential properties and loved his profession. He proudly served in the Army National Guard.
Carl enjoyed watching the Packers play, playing cards with family and friends and traveling to various locations. He liked to fish and hunt up North, near the home he built. Making his special recipe of chili was a passion of his. He treasured the time he spent woodworking and spending time with children, teasing them all of the time!
Carl is survived by his step-son, Rick (Karen) Marcey and step-daughter-in-law, Teresa Marcey. He is further survived by his longtime companion and caregiver, Lynn DeBaker, sister-in-law, Jackie Malcore, brother-in-law, Walter (Jan) Cleereman Jr. and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Delores, he was preceded in death by his brother, Allan Malcore; 3 sisters: Muriel (Norman) Heraly, Marion (Scooter) DeWitt and Margaret LaPlante and a step-son, Bill Marcey.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Friday, June 3, 2022 from 3 to 5 PM. A funeral service will follow at 5 PM.
