Carl Frank Boser, age 81, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away at home on August 18, 2023 with his wife at his side after his battle with cancer.
He was born on November 25, 1941, in Green Bay to Francis and Helen (Plocar) Boser. Carl worked at the local paper mills (P&G and Nicolet) for a combination of 36 years. Carl was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Nancy Nuthals on July 30, 1960 in Green Bay. Together they enjoyed traveling around the United States on their Honda Goldwing motorcycle. He loved to be outside tending to his flower gardens and sitting on the deck watching the birds while sipping coffee. Carl was known for his love of country western music and weekly line dancing. Carl also enjoyed hunting prairie dogs in North Dakota, building model trains, and Sunday afternoon rides with his loving wife Nancy.
He graduated from West High School in 1960 and received an associate's degree in welding from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
Carl was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church, of Green Bay.
Carl is survived by his wife Nancy Boser; sister Donna (Bob) Hermes; daughters Cynthia (David) McGuire and Cheryl (Jason) Boser; son Mark (Debbie) Boser; son-in-law Darrell Schoen; grandchildren Meghanne Noble, Justin (Ashley) Davis, Rebecca (Ozzie) Marquez, Vanessa (Alex) Schoen; step-grandchildren Eric Schoen, Katie and Megan Olson and Topanga Beutel; great-grandchildren Declan, Harper, Kalvin, Audrianna and Maya.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Schoen and his parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 29th at 3:30 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions at 340 South Monroe Avenue in Green Bay with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
