Candace E. "Candy" Brickner

August 20, 1960 — May 19, 2024

Candace "Candy" Brickner, 63, of Green Bay, passed away on May 19, 2024 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center. She was born on August 20, 1960 to Martin and Doris (Yorkell) Bader in Green Bay. On December 10, 1982, she married John Earl Brickner. Candy loved to cook and bake for her family. Candy and John loved to take the family camping especially at Firefly Lake in Vilas County. Candy had extended family of potbelly pigs that she loved. Candy was always a gift giver, she shared with the neighbor kids candy and freezies in summer, and sharing a meal with anyone in need.

Candace is survived by her loving husband, John of 41 years, daughter, Rachel Brickner, son, Jessie (Tahnae) Brickner, two grandchildren: Nevaeh and Kahlil; her siblings: twin brother, Andy Bader, Mike Bader, Linda (Jeff) Gillis, and Terry (Bill) Wenzel; sisters-in-law, Jane and Sandy, she is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay with a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm. Candy loved Tie Dye and the family wants everyone to come dressed in her favorite attire.
