Bruce Wayne Teetzen 74, of Seymour passed away peacefully in his home of lung cancer surrounded by family and friends, October 14, 2022. He was born November 4, 1947 to Raymond and Irene Teetzen in Shawno. He served in the Marines in 1968. Bruce was united in marriage to Beverly Kaat on November 30, 1968, and next month would have been their 54 year anniversary. Bruce enjoyed camping, traveling, hunting, fishing, family, and friends, and making everybody laugh.
Bruce is survived by his wife Beverly; sons Bradley (Lisa) and Brian (Tracy); daughter Brenda; grandchildren, Skye (Brent) Giordana , Alexandrea (Allie), Cassidy (Cassie), Bruce (B.J.), Emma and Jessica; sister Cinnie Malwitz; in-laws Kandy Teetzen, and Sue Teetzen; and aunt Barbara Ecke (Boots, love you seven); in-laws Leroy (friend Judy) Kaat, Gilbert (Shelley) Kaat, Kenneth (Colleen) Kaat, Janice Kaat, Jean Kaat, Nelly Kaat, and Kelly Kaat, and many nieces and nephews.
Bruce was preceded in death by: infant son; his parents Raymond and Irene Teetzen; brothers Dennis and Jon; in-laws Gilles and Angeline Kaat, Beaty (Rog) Bourret, Lloyd Kaat, Richard Kaat, Gerald (Kathy) Kaat, Roger Kaat, Janice (Cookie) Kaat, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Unity Hospice in Bruce's name. The family would like to thank Bellin Health Cancer Team, Unity Hospice, our loving nurse Erin, and Pastor Phil Engles. We would also like to thank special friends: Greg, Gayle and Fran and many others for all their care, comfort, compassion, and support.
A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 10 am to 12 pm at Seymour-Assembly of God (989 Lincoln St. Seymour, WI 54165) with a service to follow at 12 pm.
