Brian Joseph Renard

May 22, 1945 — November 30, 2024

Green Bay

Brian Joseph Renard, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, died Saturday, November 30, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Born on May 22, 1945, Brian was the son of the late John and Arbella (Barrette) Renard and the younger brother of the late Donald Renard. He graduated from SS Peter and Paul Elementary School and Premontre High School, where he enjoyed playing football and formed lasting friendships. In 1967, Brian married Suzanne Ritchie, and together they had two children. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and carried a lasting devotion to his country, evident in his habit of saluting the flag every time he passed one.

During the late 1960s, Brian and Suzanne started their own fabrication and machine shop, Norfab Machine Inc. With his father's support, Brian dedicated himself to growing the business, which continues to serve the industrial and manufacturing sectors of Green Bay and the surrounding areas. Brian felt deeply grateful to have his son, Ross, by his side throughout the years, working alongside him along with other family members and a team of devoted employees. Today, his children, Ross and Stephanie, along with his wife, Suzanne, continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.

Brian had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing, a love he enthusiastically shared with his children and grandchildren. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, creating cherished memories that will be celebrated for generations. A devoted Green Bay Packers fan, Brian never forgot the thrill of attending the historic 1967 NFL Championship, famously known as the Ice Bowl.

Brian was a founding member of Good News Bible Church in Green Bay, WI, playing a meaningful role in its early development and mission. His life was transformed in the late 1990s when he repented of his sins and believed the gospel-that the Lord Jesus Christ died for sin, rose from the dead on the third day, and that salvation is found in no other name but His. He firmly believed that salvation cannot be earned by human effort but is a gift of God’s grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.

Brian's love for God and devotion to His Word became defining hallmarks of his life. A passionate and diligent student of the Bible, he strived to live out his faith each day with unwavering commitment. He deeply valued the teachings of his favorite Bible teacher, John MacArthur. Above all, Brian's deepest desire was for his family and friends, both lifelong and new, to come to know, follow, and love the Lord Jesus Christ as he did.

Brian was a devoted husband to Suzanne for 57 wonderful years, cherishing her and their family with all his heart. He deeply loved and treasured his parents and brother, holding them close throughout his life. Brian's life left a lasting impact on those around him, shaped by his boundless compassion and selfless love. He exemplified patience, kindness, and care, touching the lives of many with his unwavering warmth and generosity.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Renard; his children, Ross (Koreena) Renard, Stephanie (John) Fallahee; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Nathan) Thibaudeau, Wesley Renard, Eric (Kristen) Renard, Emily (Garrett) Bloom, Kate Fallahee, Olivia Fallahee, David Fallahee; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Elisha, Benjamin, William, Caraline, Franklin (children of Elizabeth (Nathan) Thibaudeau), Ava (child of Wesley Renard), RosaLee, Lincoln, BerkLee (children of Eric (Kristen) Renard), Henry, Lily, Walter, Daisy, and soon-to-be-born Maple (children of Emily (Garrett) Bloom).

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, John and Arbella (Barrette) Renard; his brother, Donald Renard; and one great-grandchild, Lee (child of Eric (Kristen) Renard).
