Brian John "BJ" Beaulieu, age 45, of Oneida, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Sunday, November 10, 2024. He was born in Minneapolis, MN, July 27, 1979, son of John E. "Jeb" and Patsy (Melchert) Beaulieu and was a graduate of Duluth Central High School, Class of 1997.
After high school, Brian attended University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he served as the President of Anishinaabe Club for 2 years. He was very proud of his heritage as a member of both the Oneida and Ojibwe nations. Brian's career was in food service, where he was employed by many restaurants in Minnesota and Wisconsin, most recently as General Manager of Erbert's & Gerbert's for 10 years.
Brian was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, often cheering against his mother (a Green Bay Packer fan) in a house divided. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes and pull pranks. In his younger years, he was a talented athlete and participated in football in school and enjoyed every opportunity to play any sport available.
Brian is survived by his mother, Patsy Beaulieu and his brother, Adrian (Vicky) Beaulieu. He is further survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John E. "Jeb" Beaulieu, many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10 AM to 12 NOON. A funeral service will follow at 12 NOON. The Oneida singers will offer a prayer service from 11:30 AM until the service at NOON. Burial will be in the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
