Beverly Ann "DoDo" Kozicki, age 83, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017. She was born in Green Bay on November 21, 1933 to the late Edward and Marcella (Olson ) Newtols. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy, Green Bay in 1952. She was united in marriage to Dale L. Kozicki at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Green Bay, on January 31, 1959 during a cold spell that saw the temperature dip to 31 degrees below zero.
DoDo enjoyed catching fish more than most and frying them up to share with family. No one could tell if it was the fish or her secret sauce recipe from Newtols' Tavern that made them taste so good. She enjoyed the secret sauce this past Christmas made by her granddaughter, Katie.
Her love of flowers was evident to those that visited the house. The ever expanding gardens were enjoyable to see and smell. She was one of Prairie Nursery and Gurney's best customers!
DoDo was an avid sports fan no matter if it was a Packer's game, a Cub's game or simply watching one of the grandkid's sporting events.
She had a soft spot for charities and was supportive of events related to cancer survivors and terminally ill children. DoDo and her husband Dale made a good team for those in need, especially Make a Wish Foundation and Children's Hospital of the Fox Valley.
Beverly is survived by her Husband of 58 years, Dale L. Kozicki, Son, Christopher M. (Jane) Kozicki, Daughter, Michelle M. Cayemberg; Grandchildren, Dr. Andrew (Chelsea) Kozicki, Katelyn Kozicki and Alison Cayemberg; Sister-in-law, Agnes Schuh; Brother-in-law, Gary (Christine) Kozicke; Godchildren, Karen Petasek, AnnMarie Vogels and Sarah Knutson; and a host of other family members and friends.
