Beverly M. Derbique, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2014.
She was born on August 30, 1920, in Green Bay, WI, to the late Peter & Elizabeth (Renard) Jauquet.
Beverly graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1939. After graduation she worked at H.C. Pranges.
She married Harold "Bud" Derbique on August 28, 1945, at St. John the Evangelist. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1996.
Beverly enjoyed going to the family cottages on the bay. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and feeding birds in her yard.
She lived at Woodside Haven for 9 years. While there she enjoyed cards, spending time with the friends she met and completing puzzles and living up to her nickname of "The Puzzle Lady."
Survivors include five children, Dennis Derbique, Bonnie Hendricks, Susan (Jeff) Brey, Julie (Roger) Siefert and Steven Derbique; grandchildren, Allison, Chelsea, Jason, Autumn, Erik, Jeff, Joe, Sara, Sally, Greg, Katie, and Molly; seven great-grandchildren, Dakota, Summer, Nevaeh, Alexis, Krista, Noah and Blake; sister-in-law, Vi Jauquet; brother-in-law, Jim (Carole) Derbique; godson, Tommy Biebel; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; siblings, Ruth (Arnold), Clement (Durlene), Donald, Laverne (Bob), Joyce (Charles), and Shirley; and in-laws.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, concluding with a parish prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue from 10:00am until 11:00am at on Wednesday, February, 19, 2014, at St. John the Evangelist, 413 St. John St., Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday with Rev. John Girotti officiating. Entombment will be at Fort Howard Mausoleum.
