Beverly "Bev" Jean Rush

October 30, 1957 — November 16, 2024

Peshtigo

The angels took Bev to heaven after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She went with Jesus on November 16, 2024 at the age of 67. Bev was born October 30, 1957 to the late Douglas and Betty Bostedt. Bev attended Wisconsin schools and graduated Oconto Falls High School in 1977. Bev and Rockne Rush joined hands in marriage on May 25, 1985. They had one daughter, Amy Rush, and 8 wonderful grandchildren who they loved dearly.

Bev enjoyed scrap booking, plants, wreath making, playing cards, and making Christmas cookies for the homeless shelters in Green Bay. She cared for children in her home for many years. Bev loved watching them learn new things. Bev was a very kind hearted person who always wanted to make people happy. She made friends easily and had many of them. When Bev (Wisconsin) and her sister Debbie (Texas) visited each other, they did all the sisterly things like shopping, doing crafts, eating out together, playing cards, and most of all enjoying each other's company and enjoying all the precious time together. Loving and caring best friend and bonus sister, Deb Larsen, enjoyed camping and swimming together. They also enjoyed playing cards.

Bev is survived by her daughter, Amy (Scott Monroe) Rush; 8 grandchildren: Kira, Kenzie, Kyler, Kaydence, Kolby, Kasen, Kolt, and Kamden Monroe; loving sister and best friend Debbie (Israel) Reyna of Edinburg, Texas; her nephew and godson Michael Reyna, whom she cherished dearly; her sisters Amanda Bostedt of Laramie, Wyoming, Julie (Joe) Terheggen of New Era, Michigan, Bonnie (Ken) Bukowski of Gillet, Wisconsin; her brother Bruce (Stephanie) Bostedt of Crivitz, Wisconsin; sister-in-law Lorna (Jerry) Marheine of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; friend Deb (Kris) Larsen, of Suamico, Wisconsin, whom Bev loved like a sister and was a loving friend.

Bev is preceded in death by her husband, Rockne C. Rush; parents Douglas and Betty Bostedt; brothers Jerry Bostedt and Donnie Bostedt; in-laws Charles and Shirley Rush and sister-in-law, Darla Felt.

Forget me not although I've gone, for my memory will always live on. Keep me close to your heart, we'll meet again some day.
