Beverly Berzinski

Beverly K. (Aijala) Berzinski, age 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2015.
She was born in Ironwood, MI on April 19, 1929 a daughter of the late Uno and Luella Aijala. She attended local schools and later attended Wayne State University where she earned a nursing degree. Beverly worked at the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain, MI before moving to Green Bay.
Beverly was married to Walter Berzinski on June 23, 1956 and together they raised 3 sons. She later worked at Odd Fellows Nursing Home prior to her retirement. Beverly enjoyed golf, bowling and traveling with her husband.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Walter of over 59 years, her sons: Michael (Diane) Berzinski of Manitowoc, Tom (Cathy Chevalier) Berzinski and Gerry Berzinski, all of Green Bay. She also leaves a brother, Clayton (Betty) Aijala of Ironwood, MI.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and two infant children.
Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 11 to 12:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM.
Memorials are appreciated to a charity of one's choice.
