It's March 12, 2021. I find myself taking the last journey of my earthly life. It began 80 years ago on September 6, 1940 to Earnest and Mildred (VanCaster) Krause in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
My life had its ups and downs as all do, but my marriage to Richard Arsene Breuninger on June 20, 1959 made it a sharing experience. It also brought the joys of my life and wonderful children: Brenda (Dan) Bradley, Kevin Breuninger, and Holli (Bill) Kussow. They filled my life with pride, fun, and a tear here and there. I will miss them. The greatest gift they bestowed on me were my grandchildren: Kyle and Ben Christenson, Lyndsey and Carlie Bradley, Madelyn Kussow and Makenna (Zach) LeMere. They gave me a lifetime of smiles and I love each and every one of them. Great-grandchildren: Kael and Keira Moore, Iyla Gaines and Zoey Christenson. I also leave behind my sisters: Earnestine Capelle and Sandra Timmers and my brother Steven Krause.
Along with my parents Earnest and Mildred (VanCaster) Krause I am preceded in death by my sisters: Sally Powell and Patsy Krause and my brothers: Richard and Larry Krause.
To my husband of 61years - I couldn't have done it without you. We enjoyed life and I know our family and friends will always remain close and that makes leaving you easier. One day we will all be together. I love you and will watch over you.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Matthew's Catholic Parish (130 St. Matthew's Street, Green Bay, WI 54301) from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating and Ann Froelich concelebrating. Private inurnment will take place at Allouez Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations of diapers and other things babies would need can be made to Love Life Ministry.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all those who sent cards, called, and visited Betty during her illness. They also want to thank Unity Hospice for the care they provided.
