Benson "Vinny-Vin" Eubanks, age 58, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Bellin Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 11, 1964 in Chicago, IL, son of Clarence Knight and Rosie Eubanks.
Vinny moved to Green Bay over 30 years ago to explore better opportunities. He was a very upstanding and well-known member of the Green Bay community. His work included involvement with the Green Bay Packers and was an avid volunteer at local homeless shelters.
Vinny-Vin had an amazing sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed telling stories and was a talented inventor of on-the-spot rhymes, a gift he inherited from his mother, Rosie.
Benson is survived by his daughter, Miranda (John) Winter; granddaughter, Adilee Winter; his mother, Rosie Eubanks; his father, Clarence (Susan) Knight; 4 brothers: Clarence Eubanks, Tyree Wonders, Dorian Chappa and Dominique Knight and a sister, Veijzahn Knight. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
A celebration of Vinny's life will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 9 to 11 AM. Friends are invited to continue to celebrate Vinny's life after the visitation at the funeral home at Golden Corral (2590 Holmgren Way Ste 1, Green Bay, WI).
Vinny's family would like to thank the staff at Bellin Hospital for making sure he was well taken care of.
