On January 23, 2021, our hearts ached as the love of Tom's life completed her life long journey home to God's loving arms.
Barb was born to the late Edward Sr. and Violet (Belongia) Anderson on March 13, 1950, in Shawano.
In 1968 she became a graduate of Bay Port High School in Howard. Shortly after graduating Barb married Tom on September 6, 1969. The best friends were married at St. John's Catholic Church in Howard.
Together with love and faith, Barb and Tom created their family and had two children: Robert and Angela. In her 70 unforgettable years on this Earth, Barb was many things to many people. She was a mom, a wife, a grandma and a friend.
You could always find comfort in her hugs and her kind words. She will always be remembered for her bright smile and great laugh. Her spitfire attitude and drive allowed her to open a diner in 2000 and successfully run it for 13 years! She loved her customers and employees as if they were her own family.
Her hard work and dedication showed in everything she did; from mopping to cooking the food "with love."
In her spare time she enjoyed many hobbies: quilting, bowling, wood crafting, camping and we can't forget spending time with her grandchildren.
Her free spirit will be carried on by: her best friend of 51 years, Tom; children: Robert (Janet) Wotruba and Angela (Shawn) Elliot; grandchildren: Samantha, Jacob, Shaina, Chase, Dustin and Autumn. Her spirit is further carried on by her siblings: Edward Jr. (Pat) Anderson, Thomas (Marcia) Anderson, Daniel Anderson and Melissa Gritt, along with many nieces and nephews.
Upon completing her journey home, she will be reunited with both her parents, her sister Jeanne and her brother Kenneth.
Visitation for Barb will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Newcomer- Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301) from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. A Prayer Service will follow at 4:00 PM.
