Barbara Ann Pillsbury, age 77, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2024 at Edenbrook of Green Bay surrounded by her friends and family. She was born on September 8, 1946 to Francis and Bernadine (Blecke) Pillsbury at Green Bay, WI. Barbara worked as a Salesperson for Avon for over 30 years. She also delivered papers for the Green Bay Press Gazette for over 10 years. Barbara was a charter member of Bethany Methodist Church, and was active in the choir, and enjoyed teaching Sunday school for 35 years. In her spare time she was an avid reader and loved embroidery, and knitting. She always had a special place in her heart for our dogs, including her current best friend Scotty.
Barbara is survived by her loving brother, Jeffrey Pillsbury, her aunt Marcia Ward, cousins: Charles (Joan) Blecke, Denise Blecke and Deb (Dean) Danielson further survived by other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, Peter and Leona Blecke, and uncle, Peter Blecke Jr.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21st, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, Wisconsin from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. with service to follow at 2 P.M., with Pastor Steve Apfel. A Private Inurnment will take place in the Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
