Barbara P. Lagers, age 79, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 19, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN, daughter of the late Grant and Phyllis Larson.
Barbara married Thomas Lagers, June 14, 1963 at Green Bay First Assembly of God and were blessed with 6 children.
Barbara was a spunky lady and loved to laugh. She enjoyed playing BINGO, Yahtzee, going for long car rides and her faithful canine companion, Buffy. Her faith was very important to her. She attended church every week, as she was able, and loved gospel music. Barbara's family was the focus of her life. She was a caring mother and proud grandmother.
Barbara is survived by her 6 children: Jim Lagers, Grant (Linda) Lagers, Mike Lagers, Mark Lagers, Phyllis (Lonnie) Eagle and Rhonda (Jason) Dopkins; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren (and one on the way!) and a sister, Gail Youngberg. She is further survived by her lifelong friend, Marlene Young, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom and a daughter-in-law, Melody Lagers and 2 siblings, Gary Larson and Carol Swanson.
