Barbara Everard, 83, of Green Bay, WI., passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on April 8th, 1938 to the late Dudley and Fynetta (Felton) Duvall in Oakland, CA.
In 1960 Barbara started her career as a nurse in Fairbanks, AK. It was here where she met the love of her life, Richard Everard. On March 23rd, 1963 Barbara and Richard got married at Immaculate Conception Church in Fairbanks, AK. Shortly after, they moved to Green Bay, WI., where Barbara was employed as a labor and delivery nurse at St. Vincent Hospital for 34 years.
Barbara was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Community where she was an active part of the prayer shawl knitting group.
Barbara enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. The house was always open and no one left hungry.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard; three children: Kelly (Jeff Lester) Everard, Mark Everard, and Karen Everard; grandson Jack Lester; granddaughters: Jennifer Stutzer and Dani Lester; six great-grandchildren; sister Judy (Del) Rochholz; along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Along with her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by three children: John, Joseph and Carrie Everard and her brother Dudley Duvall Jr..
Visitation for Barbara will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Community Church (3425 Willow Rd, Green Bay, WI 54311). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating.
