Barbara E. Purgett, age 92, of Oconto Falls, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015. She was born May 29, 1922 in St. Anne, IL, daughter of the late Marvin and Gertrude (Tatro) Lawson.
Barbara married John E. Purgett, December 23, 1939 in Illinois and they enjoyed 28 loving years together before he passed in 1968. She later married Clancy Lundahl of Winamac, IN.
Barbara is survived by her 3 children: Sharon Nernberger of Suring, WI, Gary (May) Purgett of Owen, WI and Randy (Donna) Purgett of Monticello, IN; 5 grandchildren: Chad (Heidi) Nernberger, Brad Nernberger, Travis Purgett, Jonathan Purgett and Nathaniel Purgett; great grandson, Justin Nernberger and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John and a brother, Roland Lawson.
