Audrey Catherine Joswick, 77, of Green Bay, passed away after a brief illness on March 9, 2024.
She was born on September 11, 1946 to Frank and Helen (Rodziczak) Kobielak in Green Bay, WI. Audrey graduated from Pulaski High School in 1964. She married Thomas Martin Joswick in Pulaski, WI in 1969. She started her working career at Schreiber Foods before moving on to being a homemaker and raising her own children as well as many others. In her later years she worked at Home Instead as a care giver for 27 years. While at Home Instead she was awarded care giver of the year several times. She was very passionate about helping others, to the point she never retired.
Audrey was a talented quilter and was a member of the Evergreen Quilter's Guild for many years. In her spare time she was busy with her needle work, whether it be cross stitch, knitting, sewing or embroidery. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and canning her famous dill pickles. When she finally took a minute to sit down, she spent a lot of time reading. She also loved spending time with family and friends.
Audrey had a wonderful sense of humor. She was generous, kind, patient and always put others first. She will be dearly missed by everyone's hearts she touched.
Audrey is survived by her loving children: Sarah, Jesse and Laura; two grandchildren: Stella and Oscar; and other relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; her parents; brother, Ted; and sister, Beverly.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, Wisconsin. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m.
