Ashley Ann Lasee, age 28, of Oneida, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital, Milwaukee, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 22, 1989 in Green Bay, the daughter of Debra Cornelius and Perry Lasee.
Ashley's pride and joy, her son, Neegee, was born January 6, 2014 and she began her most important journey of motherhood. She was an amazing mother who was a role model to others of what a mother should be. Ashley was a hands-on mother who loved to play and wrestle with her boy as well as take car rides to parks. Neegee and Ashley were everything to each other. Ashley was a miracle child and Neegee was her own miracle child. Neegee's birth inspired Ashley to look forward to and plan for a future with her son.
Ashley was a passionate fan of many types of music. Ashley was born with and courageously battled illness her entire life. She was an inspiring woman who kept a positive attitude and always faced the future with hope. She fought a courageous battle up until her last breath. Her memory will live on through her son and her family she has left behind.
Ashley is survived by her beloved son, Neegee; her mother, Debra Cornelius; her father, Perry Lasee; her siblings: Justin, Bobbie (Tina), Tyler (Jackie), Sheena Beth and Jakotah; honorary sisters, Madison and Abby; a niece, Trinity; nephews, Mason and Jeffrey; Grandma Mary; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Randall Jourdan and Rose Maes; paternal grandparents, Perry and Theresa Morgan; uncles, Bill Jourdan and Gerrid Danforth, cousin, Little Sonny and step-father, Joey Cornelius.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM. Visitation will continue at Ashley's home, 4160 Merrimac Way, Oneida, WI 54155, Friday, June 15, 2018 from 9 to 11AM. Burial will be in Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
Ashley's family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff on the transplant floor of Froedtert Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care, love and support.
