Artur Betker, 86, of Green Bay, WI. passed away after a brief illness on Monday, December 27th, 2021. He was born on September 9, 1935 in Platkownica, Poland.
Artur was proud to be a truck driver back in Germany in the early 50's before moving to the United States in 1953 at 18 years old. He went on to work for G&K Services starting as a shirt-press operator, and ultimately became the Chief Engineer in the early 80's. After retirement, Artur continued to work as a consultant for the company where he helped set up multiple new facilities across the country.
He is survived by his sons Mike (Jeannette) Betker, and John (Krissy) Betker; grandchildren: Ainsley, Hayden and Sarah Betker along with his close friend Peggy Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents and many siblings.
A Celebration of Artur's life will be held at a later date this spring.
